Wellness, for me, began not as a pursuit, but as a battle cry from a body that felt like a betrayal.
I was born with a rare syndrome and physical anomalies that framed my entire existence. For decades, I navigated a world of chronic pain, a reality amplified by the searing stress of an abusive relationship where survival was a daily act of defiance.
The turning point was fleeing that relationship with my children—one step away from homelessness, terrified, and in excruciating pain.
In that rock bottom, I realised a profound truth: stress wasn't just emotional; it was a physiological wildfire. My nervous system, flooded with cortisol and adrenaline, had become my greatest adversary. I learned that calm isn't a luxury; it's the non-negotiable cornerstone of healing.
My path to calm was unconventional. One of the key ways that I found it was through using my voice in speaking and singing.
On stage at a local open mic, I discovered a profound truth: shared courage and creativity builds neurological pathways back to safety.
In many ways, this was me finding my way home. Years before, I had worked within the music industry, nurturing up-and-coming artists as a band manager and publicist. My original dream was to be a journalist, driven by a deep love for talking to people and writing their stories.
Life took me on a different path, but now I understand that every step was preparing me for this moment: to blend performance, storytelling, and deep human connection into a message of healing and triumph."
Stepping outside my comfort zone into the spotlight retrained my survival default into self-confidence and creative freedom. Speaking and singing became my somatic practice—a way to release trauma, regulate my nervous system, and reclaim my voice in the most literal sense.
That journey—from using music, something I had always loved and rediscovering my voice as a communicator became the catalyst to heal myself, to then use it to help others connect—is why I do this work. It’s the foundation of everything I am today: a Trauma-Informed Coach, a Motivational Speaker who sings, a Podcast Host, and a Community Resilience Architect.
My philosophy is anchored in three core truths:
My work is a living testament to the power of this approach. I’ve had the honour of:
I don’t just speak about healing; I create an experience of it. I blend powerful storytelling with live song to deliver keynotes and workshops that don't just land intellectually—they resonate viscerally.
This unique approach:
Bypasses Intellectual Barriers: Music and story connect directly to the heart, making messages of resilience and self-worth more impactful and memorable.
Regulates the Room: A song can shift the energy of an audience, bringing a room into a shared, collective moment of calm and connection—modelling the nervous system safety I teach.
Demonstrates Vulnerability and Strength: Standing up to sing is an act of courage that gives others permission to embrace their own authentic voice.
I specialise in delivering keynotes and workshops that are more than just talks—they are transformative experiences that leave teams feeling inspired, connected, and equipped with practical tools for resilience.
I am the perfect fit for your:
- Corporate Wellbeing Days: Talks that address stress, burnout, and building psychological safety in the workplace.
- Women's Leadership Conferences & Events: Keynotes on finding your voice, overcoming imposter syndrome, and leading with authenticity.
- End-of-Year Functions: Uplifting and reflective sessions to celebrate a year's triumphs and set a powerful intention for the next.
- Team Offsites & Retreats: Interactive workshops that use storytelling and creativity to build deeper connection and trust within teams.
Today, I stand confidently in these roles—not despite my scars, but because I have learned to weave them into bridges for others. And sometimes, I even sing them.
Whether you are an individual ready to reclaim your life or an organisation seeking a truly unforgettable speaker to inspire your team, I am here to guide you.
My work is proof that our deepest challenges can forge our greatest purpose. Your triumph is waiting—and it has a soundtrack.
